Picnic at Golden Gardens

The future Papacs, the future Wilsons, Al, Owen, my mom and I went to Golden Gardens for a picnic a couple weeks ago. Mom told us this was were my dad would drag race his GTO back in high school...pretty crazy!!!

More Bath Time Pics...

Since we have such a spitty baby on our hands we've come to love our bath time.  I was thinking a few weeks ago that I didn't bath our son enough but now it's becoming a pretty regular occurrence.  He's a frequent puker and it hardens around the bottom of his hairline and settles under his double chin...daily!

I'm obsessed...

Our last outing before I go back to work

It's with so much sadness that I post this blog...I'm headed back to work on Monday and I can hardly stand it.  My 3 1/2 months at home with Owen has been so wonderful and each day together is a new adventure.  I just love the little man and I'm having a lot of anxiety about leaving him.  On Wednesday we went to the zoo with Kate, Ben, Lisa and Ryan...no more daytime outings...back to blood sugars, infusion sets and insulin pumps.   Please pray for me...

Memorial Day Beach Picnic

We picniced at Richmond Beach Park on Memorial Day, it was beautiful but now with a baby you spend all your time in the shade...not good for my tan.  Here are Owen and Dane, they are only 2 weeks apart!
Lindsey and Miss Sydney who doesn't like her picture taken anymore
Angie and Jack having some snacks

Bite Open 2009

The graduating dental class each year puts on an annual Alumni/Student golf tournament and since Al is a social chair he was in charge of it this year.  We had a great time and actually our group played pretty well.  We couldn't qualify for the ladies team prizes since Mike was our ringer.  Al, Josh, Ryan and Kyle have won it the last few years and were beat out in a chip off by a 1st year team...they are really bitter!  Al did an excellent job planning the event but since I wasn't in his group I don't have any pics of him that day.
We drank just a little bit...

Mother's Day

This year our Mother's Day was so special; not only was it my first one as a mom but Owen was dedicated at our church that Sunday morning as well.  Our family and friends came to support us, we are so blessed to have the support and guidance in our faith.
After church we went to brunch at Inglewood and then headed over to Acacia to see our grandmothers.  Grandma Jean, Grandma Fran and Grandma Sherry are all resting in the same place and it was so nice for our families to be together to visit them (minus Greg).  Happy Mother's Day Great-Grandmas!

Inglewood Here We Come...

To celebrate Al's graduation from dental school we joined Inglewood Golf Club this spring.  We took Owen out for his first round, a walk around the park in his BOB...he was so great and loved it.  Won't be long before he's teeing off from the 150 marker and carrying his own bag.  It was so fun to be out doing what we love as a threesome.
